Baking soda has a lot of uses. Its antiseptic quality makes it a great product for your skin. You can use it as an exfoliant to scrub dead skin away. This also helps neutralize the PH of your skin, so that it will produce less oil. With regular use, you can say goodbye to your blackheads for good.
How to use:
- Mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a small amount of water to form a paste.
- Apply the paste to your blackheads and allow it to dry for about 10 minutes.
- Rinse with lukewarm water.
- Repeat this remedy once or twice a week.
Egg Whites

Egg whites are efficient in removing the blackheads and in tightening the pores. Aside from this, it will also make your skin glow.
How to Use:
- Add honey to the egg white
- Apply the mixture on your face
- Let it Dry
- Wash off with warm water
- Repeat this twice a week
Coconut Oil
This might surprise you, but yes, coconut oil is another effective way to get rid of your blackheads. Due to its lauric acid content, it works great as an antimicrobial agent. It also helps eliminates dead skin cells.
How to use:
- Do a quick steam by putting your head under a towel over steaming water in a pan to open your skin pores or you can dip a washcloth in hot water, squeeze out the excess water and place the cloth over face. This will allow oil to enter into your pores.
- Pour a teaspoon full of coconut oil on your palm.
- Gently massage your face using fingers in a circular motion.
- Afterward, wash your face with a cold-processed soap to rinse off the oil completely.

Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is a natural moisturizer and it is rich in Vitamin E that lubricates and nourishes skin cells and tissues. It also contains linoleic acid that reconnects broken tissues and delays the formation of crow’s feet, fine lines and sagging skin that usually happens with age.
Gently rub a few drops of extra virgin coconut oil on the skin around your eyes each night before you sleep.
8. Age Spots

Age spots also known as sun spots, liver spots and lentigines are harmless flat, yellow or brown discolorations of the skin that usually occur at the back of your hands, neck and face. While this is harmless, it can be annoying because it reveals your age. These dark spots are signs of sun damage by having your skin exposed to the sun over many years. Mix apple cider vinegar and onion juice. Dab a cotton into the solution and apply it directly to the age spots. You can also mix 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar into a mug full of water and drink this twice daily.
Another option is aloe vera juice or gel, this herb is a popular healing agent for skin problems including burns. This is also proven effective to lighten the appearance of age spots. Just rub it directly on the affected areas twice daily and leave it on for at least 45 minutes.
9. Cellulite

Cellulite is another common problem that affects 90% of women at some point in their lives. Even slender and fit women can develop cellulite. What we hate about this is that it looks lumpy because it pushes against the connective tissues causing the skin above it to pucker. There are a lot of factors that might trigger you to have cellulite and these include: poor diet, fad dieting, slow metabolism, lack of physical activity, hormone changes, dehydration, total body fat and thickness and color of your skin. Dimpled skin in our thighs and derrière are awful but don’t worry as you can do something about it.

There are masks, paste and oil that you can create at home to reduce cellulite, these include seaweed treatment and tomato paste. You can also dry brush while moisturizing with extra virgin coconut oil. Coffee scrubs work too.
There are also procedures to decrease cellulite like Cellulaze, Zwave, Vanquish and Mesotherapy. In addition to these, you can purchase cellulite creams to shrink fat cells. However, you have to remember that once treatment is stopped, cellulite might creep back up.
Aside from these potential solutions, there are easier ways to reduce cellulite like drinking more water to stay hydrated because this will plump your skin and make it look less dimpled. Lemon has a natural alpha-hydroxy fruit acid that loosens the glue that binds dead skin cells together. Meanwhile, the sugar is a gentle exfoliator that cleans pores and increases cell turnover. The olive oil is rich in vitamin E that nourishes and conditions your skin.
You can also use two tablespoons of warm fresh milk and apply it in a circular motion. Leave it for a few minutes and rinse with cool water.
