What is Estrace Cream?

Estrace vaginal estrogen creams is specially formulated to treat both inside the vagina and the vulva on the outside to alleviate the discomfort like dryness, itching and burning brought upon by menopause. This uses plant-derived estrogen and is made with an emollient that prevents moisture loss.

This local vaginal estrogen treatment helps normalize your vagina. As you age, the tissues in your vagina become thinner, this helps thicken it.

In addition, it increases lubrication which makes sex more comfortable. This is helpful if you are suffering from vaginal dryness that results in a painful intercourse.

What is Estrace Cream Used For?

This prescription medicine is used to treat moderate to severe VVA. This is a better choice than using lubricants that can only result in possible long-term vulvar and vaginal tissue damage.

📌This cream is used to treat the following VVA symptoms:

  • Dryness
  • Itching
  • Burning

📌Aside from alleviating vaginal changes this is also used for:

  • Hot flashes
  • Prevent bone loss
  • Replenish estrogen levels

Estrace Cream Dosage

Estrace Cream Dosage

When estrogen is prescribed for a postmenopausal woman, it is recommended that you take progestin too, to reduce the risk of endometrial cancer. But those without a uterus don’t need progestin.

Always remember that dosing can be customized. But it is recommended that you start at the lowest dose for the indication.

Check out the different dosages for different concerns.

  1. For moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms and vaginal atrophy associated with menopause, the lowest dose and regimen that will control symptoms should be chosen and it should be discontinued as promptly as possible.

Attempts to discontinue medication should be made at 3-month to 6-month intervals. The usual initial dosage range is 1 to 2 mg daily of estradiol. The minimal effective dose for maintenance therapy should be determined by titration. The administration should be cyclic. (e.g., 3 weeks on and 1 week off)

  1. For treatment of female hypoestrogenism due to hypogonadism, castration or primary ovarian failure.

Treatment is usually initiated with a dose of 1 to 2 mg daily of estradiol, adjusted as necessary to control presenting symptoms; the minimal effective dose for maintenance therapy should be determined by titration.

  1. For treatment of breast cancer, for palliation only, in appropriately selected women and men with metastatic disease.

Suggested dosage is 10 mg three times daily for a period of at least three months.

  1. For treatment of advanced androgen-dependent carcinoma of the prostate, for palliation only.

Suggested dosage is 1 to 2 mg three times daily. The effectiveness of therapy can be judged by phosphatase determinations as well as by symptomatic improvement of the patient.

  1. For prevention of osteoporosis.

When prescribing solely for the prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis, therapy should be considered only for women at significant risk of osteoporosis and for whom non-estrogen medications are not considered to be appropriate.

The lowest effective dose of ESTRACE has not been determined.

In general, if you use Estrace alone or in combination with a progestin, it is recommended that you use it in the shortest duration that is consistent with your treatment goals and risk for the individual woman. Postmenopausal women should reevaluate periodically to determine if the medication is still necessary.

For vulvar and vaginal atrophy associated with menopause, treatment should be the lowest dose and regimen that will control symptoms. It should be discontinued as promptly as possible.

Estrace Cream Reviews

I must say that menopause symptoms are not easy. Growing up, I thought it was just a joke, but when I personally experience it, it was so much more than that. Aside from the mood swings, my sex life was affected terribly.

When I reached 50 years old, I started to experience several symptoms of menopause. Sex was very painful during intercourse that I avoided it altogether. In addition, my libido dropped. So, getting intimate with my husband was the last thing on my mind.

The changes in my libido, mood and vagina have affected not only sex life but my relationship with my husband. I sensed his frustrations every time I turn him down. I was not happy with my choice either, so I searched for ways to improve my condition.

In my search for menopause dryness creams, I come across Estrace vaginal cream. Most of the reviews I read were positive. I was aware of the side effects, I knew the potential symptoms that I may experience, at that time, but I was so desperate. So, I placed my order.

When I started to take the cream, I immediately noticed the difference. My night sweats improved, my libido was enhanced and my vaginal condition was so much better.

There was no more dryness and itching. Prior to using the cream, I felt a burning sensation whenever I urinate. Thanks to Estrace Cream, that was gone too.

My sex life was slowly back and I am loving it. I have been saying “no” to my husband for a couple of months because it was too painful for me. But after taking this cream, my sex life was revitalized in no time. It was so much faster than I expected and the relief was so much better than I anticipated.

I honestly didn’t think that I would enjoy the pleasure of sex at 55 years old. For those who need a relief, I highly recommend Estrace Cream.

If you are still not convinced with my Estrace Cream review, here are more testimonials from other happy and satisfied customers.
